Key Largo, the uppermost key in the chain, sits just three miles from Molasses Reef, one of the best coral reefs in the Keys — a must-experience stop, not just a drive-through on the way south.
Key Lime Sailing Club is where sailors take a break from living aboard to enjoy each other's company, warm breezes, and a sunset. Family-owned and sail-oriented, the club offers free kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear, canoes, and fishing gear right on the beach — the secluded cottages fostering a real sense of trust and community among guests who get to know each other at the tiki hut.
The club partners with Morning Star Sailing Charters, a 30-year Key Largo fixture running captained sunset sails and snorkel trips seven days a week. In February 2017, the South Dade Marina joined the club too, adding eco-friendly kayak tours through the mangroves, bareboat charters, and captained sunset sails aboard a 34' Gemini catamaran.
