When the Florida Keys reopened to visitors in June 2020, we were grateful to welcome new and returning guests back — and committed to making sure everyone had a safe, great time.
Every cottage and boat received a thorough cleaning with an EPA-approved disinfectant before check-in, with high-touch common areas cleaned daily. We built in a vacant day between reservations for enhanced cleaning, disinfected shared amenities (kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, life jackets) daily with sanitizing wipe stations for guests, and added hospital-grade ionizing HEPA filters to every cottage, removing 99.97% of airborne particles.
We didn't just meet state and county AHLA guidelines for enhanced cleaning — we exceeded them.
