Going on a Sailing Vacation and More in Key Largo, Florida

Fifteen miles south of Miami, the Florida Keys offer a true tropical island experience without leaving the country. Key Largo, the largest key, has world-famous coral reefs on the Atlantic side — sharks, parrotfish, dolphins, even barracudas — and calmer Florida Bay waters on the other, home to iguanas, porpoises and dolphins, easily explored by kayak through the mangrove forests.

Key Lime Sailing Club has everything you need to explore it all: cozy beachfront cottages with panoramic Florida Bay views and sunsets, tiki torches lit each evening, and a fire pit at the water's edge.

Along with kayaks, paddleboards, snorkeling gear and fishing equipment, KLSC is known for its dedication to sailing — partnered with Morning Star Sailing for chartered excursions, snorkeling tours, and sunset sails on a 37' catamaran, plus Catalina 22 sailboats available to guests who want to sail themselves. New to sailing? Classes are available for every skill level.
