Hurricane Recovery Update from the Florida Chamber of Commerce

In the weeks after Hurricane Irma, we shared a recovery update from the Florida Chamber of Commerce, who worked with local chamber partners statewide to help Florida get back on its feet.

The update covered the state's Emergency Operations Center reports on the time: ports reopening (including Key West, with restrictions), power restoration reaching millions of accounts in just over a week through the largest single-state restoration effort in history, improving fuel supply through major ports, and National Guard comfort zones distributing water, food and supplies across the Keys during the post-storm water boil notice.

It also pointed readers toward two relief funds: the Florida Disaster Fund (administered by Volunteer Florida) and the Florida Chamber of Commerce Local Chamber Relief Fund, supporting the local chambers hit hardest by the storm.
